What goes in a MuttBall

In this fast-paced life, providing yourself with the proper balance of nutrition and a dollop of good taste is no easy feat. Fortunately, when it comes to your dog, we've got you covered.

Our incredibly irresistible combination of seasonal, local, fresh ingredients is the perfect balance. We started out with an old Italian family recipe and then had it perfected by a canine nutritionist.

This isn't just a list of fillers and colour. Each item has a place in the recipe - and in your dog's belly. Curious? Click any ingredient and see.

We make Pablo's MuttBalls in our own kitchen right here in Toronto.

We use lean beef and organs (liver, kidneys, heart) from cows raised in farms that we have inspected ourselves, where they are treated humanely and raised on real food. To give Pablo the nutrients and fibre he needs, we add seasonal fresh local vegetables and fruit: carrots, yams, cabbage, green beans, apples, berries and bananas; brown rice, lentils, organic oatmeal and whole eggs plus ground flax seeds and calcium for good digestion and healthy bones and skin. We add brewer's yeast for the B vitamins, zinc and lecithin as a source of choline and to improve the digestion of fats. And finally a touch of garlic, because Pablo really likes garlic.

No chemicals, no hormones, no by-products. We want Pablo to enjoy the same high-quality, natural food we eat ourselves. His MuttBalls contain what he needs - and he loves them.
